Many of us in the pro-life movement know June 24 as the anniversary of Dobbs and the demise of Roe v. Wade. But while we have overcome that hurdle, many still lie ahead at the state and federal levels, as Planned Parenthood is set to be refunded and the lack of abortion drug regulations remain.
So, for our members and supporters, we’re making June 24 into something more: another invitation to mobilize for the sake of our profession and patients.
AAPLOG’s second annual Day of Giving, held in commemoration of the anniversary of the landmark Dobbs Supreme Court decision, is a moment for us to come together, give generously, and help shape the future of medicine. Across all fifty states, the future of medicine is being defined in real time. And now more than ever, doctors’ voices matter.

Through this Day of Giving, AAPLOG is capitalizing on MBEC’s 2026 theme, a New Path Forward for Medicine. This new path forward means paving the way for life-affirming medicine with boldness, determination, and courage. We want every American to know there is a professional medical organization dedicated to life-affirming care.
The goal is ambitious but achievable: $250,000 from 500 gifts to fuel the next chapter of AAPLOG’s work.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps drive forward a mission that is already impacting patients, physicians, and the broader medical conversation nationwide.
This year’s effort is intentionally designed to multiply impact. Through a series of matches and challenges, each gift helps unlock additional funding, expanding the reach of every donor’s generosity.
From supporting student memberships to growing national awareness, these challenges make each contribution go further, turning individual generosity into collective momentum.
So, what does this “New Path Forward” look like in action?
It means expanding the reach of AAPLOG’s voice so that more Americans hear the truth about life-affirming care. It means equipping physicians with the support, training, and community they need to practice medicine with integrity. And it means investing in the next generation of doctors, ensuring they are prepared to carry this mission forward for years to come.
It also means addressing the reality that although AAPLOG serves as the medical voice of the pro-life movement, many medical professionals and Americans still don’t know we exist.
This Day of Giving is an opportunity to change that, amplifying physician voices so they can reach patients, policymakers, and communities across the country.
This Day of Giving is about mobilizing our community.
