FYI  Christianity & Public Health conference will be held at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Organizers are bringing together scholars and practitioners to explore the role of Christian thought and communities in advancing public health and human flourishing. AAPLOG members, supporters, and students are invited to attend.
 
Join the Virginia Medical Professionals for Women’s Safety.  We’re excited to announce the official launch of this new coalition committed to promoting high‑quality medical care, ensuring the well‑being of women across the Commonwealth, and stopping the extreme abortion measure on the ballot in November. If you are a medical professional in Virginia, we invite you to join us, get involved, and help strengthen this growing network. And please feel free to share this announcement with colleagues across the state who may want to be part of this important effort. 
 
Enduring CME is available for the 2026 Matthew Bulfin Educational Conference with 18.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Please register here. Cost is $350 for the entire conference for non-dues paying members. Enduring CME is free for dues-paying AAPLOG members or those who paid for live CME as part of their conference attendance (code needed and was sent by email).

AAPLOG Office Hours/Community Connections

New!  Join the Director of Member Engagement Cathy Deeds, and other AAPLOG members for an online monthly community connections/office hours.  In response to your feedback, hear about AAPLOG updates, and ask questions about your membership renewal (was Jan. 15!), the latest research, state chapters, or anything AAPLOG. Give us your feedback, share ideas! The next sessions will be on Friday, Aug. 14 at 9-9:45 am and 3:30-4:15pm CT. No meeting in July. (Teams link here) These are informal discussions, stop in anytime during the time frames, or you can call. In future months we will meet on the second Friday.
