2025 marked a defining chapter for AAPLOG, a year full of clarity, growth, and remarkable momentum. The recent release of our 2025 annual report put into words all we’ve accomplished, and previews what we will continue to do.
As the medical landscape continues to shift, AAPLOG strengthened its foundation and sharpened its vision for the future, expanding its network of physicians, shaping national conversations, and standing firmly as the trusted medical voice of the pro-life movement.
We encourage you to read the full report to see what your membership helps accomplish and how we are working for you, but here are just a few of the highlights:
Doctors’ Voices Are Changing the Narrative
At a time when medical misinformation from pro-abortion pundits (including those in the medical community) often dominates conversations around women’s health and abortion, AAPLOG continues to bring truth and clarity, backed by clinical experience, into the mainstream. As the medical voice of the pro-life movement, AAPLOG is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between science and public understanding.
In 2025 alone, AAPLOG’s message reached an astounding 2.8 billion people, generating over $34 million in earned media. These milestones represent a cultural shift, as more individuals encounter accurate, evidence-based perspectives on life-affirming women’s healthcare.
Investing in the Next Generation of Physicians
Lasting change requires cultivating the next generation, and in 2025, AAPLOG made that investment a priority.
Student and resident engagement reached new levels, signaling a growing desire among medical trainees to pursue ethical, patient-centered care. The annual Matthew Bulfin Educational Conference (MBEC) welcomed its largest student and resident class ever to learn, connect, and commit to excellence in medicine.
This surge of interest is a healthy sign that the future of medicine includes physicians who are both clinically excellent and deeply committed to protecting life. Investing in the next generation will be an even bigger priority for us moving forward.
Mobilizing a Growing Movement
AAPLOG’s growth is not confined to one event or initiative: it is evident across the entire organization. In 2025, we expanded both in size and in strategic depth:
- Nearly 8,000 members nationwide
- More than 500 students and residents, now the fastest-growing segment of membership
- A revitalized Medical Voices Masterclass, equipping physicians to communicate effectively in the public square
- New Special Interest Groups fostering collaboration across specialties
Together, these efforts are building a connected, informed, and active community of physicians and medical professionals prepared to lead in their fields and restore a culture of life in medicine and beyond.
AAPLOG Action, after bursting onto the scene in 2024 with key victories in multiple states, advocated for the return of the opt-in only model of abortion training for medical residents versus the current opt-out system – a massive opportunity that AAPLOG Action is uniquely positioned to champion. We celebrated the bicameral introduction of the Conscience Protections for Medical Residents Act at the end of 2025, which was a direct result of our advocacy for you on a federal level.
Advancing Medical Truth in a Critical Moment
As public policy and medical practice continue to evolve, AAPLOG has remained steadfast in addressing some of the most pressing issues facing women’s health.
In 2025, we advanced critical guidance on topics such as fetal development and abortion-related risks, once again providing clarity in areas often clouded by confusion or incomplete information.
In July, AAPLOG led a coalition of 30,000 medical professionals to write a letter urging federal leaders to confront the growing risks associated with unregulated abortion drugs. This unified effort underscored the urgent need for accountability, transparency, and patient-centered care in national policy decisions.
A Voice Where It Matters Most
Even amid growing opposition, AAPLOG’s influence continued to expand across medicine, law, and culture. We remained a consistent and credible voice in diverse cultural arenas:
- Submission of an amicus brief in another landmark federal case regarding the abortion drug mifepristone, continuing our record of submitting briefs in every major abortion and conscience-related federal court case for the last 50 years
- A formal response to ACOG’s advocacy on mifepristone
- Support for the release of Abortion Pill Reversal: A Second Chance at Choice by Dr. George Delgado
- Publication of updated clinical guidance on fetal pain
Each of these actions reflects AAPLOG’s commitment not only to clinical excellence, but to ensuring that ethical, evidence-based perspectives are represented in the highest levels of decision-making.
Our Generous Donors Made This Possible
None of this progress would have been possible without the generosity and commitment of supporters.
In 2025, AAPLOG raised more than $1 million and increased overall funding by an extraordinary 122%. These resources translate directly into action: more physicians equipped, more patients served, and more voices speaking truth in medicine.
This is a shared achievement. And together, we will accomplish even more in 2026.
